Our honing department consists of four horizontal hones. Two are ML400’s, an ML3500, and a 1690, each having diameter sizing capabilities ranging from .060” to 4.000”. Lengths ranging from .125” up to 8.000”, all sizing capabilities are able to hold tolerances of +/-.00005, and have finishing capabilities of polish finish of 2RA factor and roundness measurable in microns. We also have external honing capabilities for some applications.

Our ACK21 Vertical hone has bore size capabilities from 1.000” to 6.000” at lengths up to 12.000”. Using Sunnen Special Design GHS 6 stone mandrels, makes sizing faster, more cost efficient, and running large orders possible.

Our newest addition, a Sunnen SV-310 Vertical Honing System has bore size capabilities from .7500” to 8.000”. Lengths up to 28.000” are possible with the new stroking system. The SV-310 makes vertical honing faster, easier, more accurate, more economical and more productive than ever before.

We also have air-gauging equipment with CPK capabilities for tracking efficiency and accuracy in large and small orders.
