Aggressive Grinding's ID Cell consists of 3 CNC Overbeck, 2 CNC Tripet, 3 CNC Okuma ID grinders and 2 manual/conventional grinders. Our ID department has the capacity to grind diameters from 1/16" (.062) to 15" (15.000) in diameter with an accuracy of .0002. Other capabilities include grinding angles, compound angles, counterbores, and radius all with a low RMS finish. Oil is used in this equipment instead of coolant to provide a superior product. Greater accuracy is achieved with our honing equipment.

We have 13 CNC Tru-Tech precision O.D. grinders that allow us to grind any profile faster and more accurately than an average conventional machine. We are able to generate multiple OD’s, angles, and radius in one set-up that would take several operations on a manual machine.
The three Tru-Tech 3-Axis CNC Precision grinders have multiple plunge, OD, ID and contour grinding capabilities. These machines allow for faster set-ups and hold tighter tolerances.
With 6 Rollomatic CNC Grinders, including 2 new Shapesmart np5s we are able to manufacture endmills, punches, tapered tools, high performance drills, step tools, reamers and taps. The machines offer roughing and finish grinding in one operation on complex shapes and extreme diameter/length ratios.
In addition, our four Okuma CNC grinders support OD finishing in a high volume, automated production environment by completing multiple operations using the same machine.
Our six Kellenberger Universal grinders have the capability of grinding multiple operations without unchucking the part; including OD, ID and face grinding. This is achieved due to the two OD and one ID wheels mounted within the machine.
Our CNC Kellenberger grinders give us the thread grinding capability to produce a variety of threaded solid carbide wear parts.
An additional 5 Conventional O.D. grinders of the same manufacturer and matching tooling are used for larger diameters and roughing.
MasterCAM software has been implemented in our CNC OD and ID Departments. This software gives us the capability to centralize program development and design minimizing human programming errors.
