Spearheaded by our Human Resources manager, we continually increase the hours of training our employees are required to complete. New hires must receive OSHA safety training. To progress within the company, employees are required to receive and pass training that includes blueprint reading, machining, and measuring and gauging.

Aggressive Grinding has a state certified safety committee, which includes 9 members each with different areas of responsibility within the organization. The committee meets on a monthly basis to develop and implement safety policy with the support of upper management.

Providing our employees with a safe, clean and healthy workplace has always been a priority with Aggressive Grinding. Not only is it good for our employees, it is also good for business. Employees are provided Ecco work shoes, both for their skid resistant soles and comfort. It is our experience that workers are more conscientious and productive when they are in a clean environment and are provided training to prevent accidents and injuries.

Aggressive Grinding cycles its grinding coolant utilizing a three step process. The process filters impurities out of the coolant enabling the clean, filtered coolant to be recycled and reused for grinding. It also allows the complete recovery of grinding by-products for reclaiming in an environmentally acceptable manner.

Our Donaldson Torret air handling system removes particulates, mist and dirt from the air. Each machine has separate duct work into the system. The air handling equipment cycles the entire volume of air in our production areas every ten minutes and is cleaned and maintained on a monthly basis.
