Surface Grinding Department The Surface Grinding department has 7 production machines. These machines are used to grind steel, carbide and other hard metals up to 12 by 24 inches to tolerances of one ten thousandths of an inch (0.0001)

We increase productivity by assigning one operator to two machines. Our surface grinding department also has three Blanchard rotary grinders that can grind a part up to 36" in diameter and hold tolerances to two ten thousands of an inch (0.0002").

Our newest additions to the department include a Stahli double disk grinder and an automatic cut-off saw, both are in addition to our conventional saw.
